Maximising exposure for the IoT Solutions World Congress, one of the largest events of its kind in the world.
After five years, the IoT Solutions World Congress at the Fira de Barcelona has grown to become one of the most popular IOT events in the world, drawing some of the most respected speakers and exhibitors in the space. The brief to the agency was to generate feature-length media exposure that would demonstrate the breadth of IOT innovation on show at its 2019 event.
What we did
Working with US partner, Tier One Communications, TUVA mapped out a seven-month plan to seed contributed content on a range of topics – things like healthcare, manufacturing, smart cities and skills - with high profile outlets, in addition to identifying and inviting the most relevant reporters and broadcasters to attend the show as VIP guests.
A steady stream of contributed content, interviews and social updates to engage influencers was followed by the attendance of around 20 journalists at the show. VIP media attendees included the likes of Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, Forbes, Computerworld and Diginomica who have subsequently generated over 30 unique articles covering topics as diverse as sensors being used to protect historic buildings through to diversity within the industry.
